Well Cities Skylines is the Doom for simulation fans. Cities: Skylines offers sprawling landscapes and maps with endless sandbox gameplay and new ways to expand your city. Rated 3 out of 5 by BDM106 from Middle of the road Not a bad game. I don’t believe that a Cities-inspired game is a bad fit for the Switch, but attempting to port Skylines to the platform has resulted in a game that feels like a rushed mess. Cities Skylines is to simulation fans what Doom was to shooter fans last year.

Most people will not get to 100k population, but let me assure everyone again the game retains all the milestones of the PC version which ends at 90k so it is designed to run at a high population count, 100k pop is certainly supported in this version.

There is a limit to how successfully the console version is able to emulate the PC experience, but it does a good enough job that I can’t recommend the game enough to the Switch owner hankering for a city building game for their favorite hybrid console.
